New Release on Kindle Vella: The Competition

Okay, so it's been a while (to put it mildly) since I posted anything on this blog.  But as the old saying goes, better late than never, right?  Anyway, I've finally gotten around to publishing the romance novel that was kicking around in my brain. It's called The Competition, and the synopsis is as follows:

Three years ago, Cassie Gower made the biggest mistake of her life when she turned down a marriage proposal from her college sweetheart, Jacob. The intervening time and distance (along with dating an insufferable string of jerks) has made her realize what she had – and foolishly discarded. So when she and Jacob cross paths again, it seems like divine intervention, and Cassie’s not about to waste her second chance. There’s only one problem…

She’s not the only one with a romantic interest in Jacob.

It’s unexplored territory for Cassie, who – with beauty and brains – has never really had to compete for a man’s affection. But her rival, Taylor, is every bit her equal in terms of looks and intellect. More importantly, she’s just as determined to win Jacob’s heart, and in this contest, it’s winner-take-all.
